Really expensive for a case but I wanted a magsafe case that didn’t have the magnets sticking out like the ESR cases. I own the Airpods pro 2 and the case is not out yet but I don’t need the Lanyard wholes and the case speakers are still loud. I own multiple gen 1 airpods pro. I might buy the Pitaka case for the second gen once its released and use this one for one of my gen 1. From the photo, you can see it stick on the a metal book shelf.Is it expensive for an airpod case? Yes.Is it worth every penny? Also yes.No regrets and happy with this purchase.First things first. This product isn't cheap. now that out of the way. It feels like an actual OEM Apple product if Apple decided to step up their Carbon Fiber game. AAAThis is really great. it’s elegantly understated, well designed, high quality, and the physical feel of it exudes high luxury brands like Louis Vuitton or Prada. The fit is perfectly match to my AirPods case and everything is in line no matter the angel. Even the box it came in was well thought out and nice looking, again like LV.There are 2 things I don’t consider a negative but for some potential buyers might be. A: it has a sweet smell, and if you are handling the device, that smell has a tendency to get on your fingers(this is nit picking for me but some people may have allergies that would make this a problem) Now, i believe that smell is probably post production from the manufacturing process....it should be noted, that after a few days the smell disappeared. B: the sticky tape in the top piece, is not very sticky, i peeled it out, and used my own tape i got from 3D Scotch. it’s the same tape but they are rated by how many pounds the tape can hold, mine holds 5lbs which is perfect for making sure the lid doesn’t fall off)i have to say, i was really hesitant about this purchase at this price point, but upon it’s arrival and installation, i am really, really in love with it.....for a highly critical person like me, this is high praise, the price here, does reflect this product well.Sorry this case not for me cover fell off 3 times in past 2 hours , I contacted pitakeDirect very good customer care , There sending me replacement 99% time pitaka products well made .This is a great product design but poor in application. I would advise a different product to protect your case since this case protector falls off and the little handle breaks easily. An expensive product that really does not work as advertised.This case although goes perfectly with my iPad pitaka case and my iPhone and my Apple Watch cases it is enormous. There is no good reason to actually use this thing it’s hugeLike all Pitaka products I’ve purchased this item is tough as nails. It looks great, easy to put on or take off, and allows wireless or wired charging. Price is a bit high but it’s a quality item. Love Pitaka!
