I’m a tech enthusiast and usually buy premium brands as my experience has taught me I get a better value in performance and longevity.I usually go for Anker with these types of accessories and honestly never thought much of ESR. So now I have a few ESR products and everything I have tried so far is very well made, easily on par with Anker and even more premium brands sit close to ESR in terms of quality.This charger charges my iPhone very fast. It’s designed to, and usually fast chargers can’t do away with the heat involved in doing so. This one does though. The fan that engages while charging is silent and keeps the whole phone, case and charge pad cool. The magnet strength is excellent and even with a thick MagSafe case on my phone it sticks perfectly well with no issue of being knocked off. It charges up my Ultra 2 watch flawlessly as well. Aesthetically it’s nice, though I chose white and it probably looks better in a modern kitchen than on my very beautiful dark wood night stand in my bedroom. But it doesn’t bother me enough to send it back, especially with how well it performs. The phone charger has a blue light on the back and I really like it cause I like lights on my tech. It’s not obnoxious lighting at all though and I’ve been able to sleep with it overnight.Only con; the pad the phone sits on is fixed. It doesn’t pivot and it should. Now, the architects at ESR got the angle right at least and trying this charger out in my office and my bedroom I’ve had no issues in seeing the display. But I still would like that control.I love this charger and I’m growing to be a big ESR fan. They seem to make good stuff. Some of their accessories are less expensive than premium competitors and some of their items are more expensive. This piece is in the latter category but I would not hesitate to purchase this again if I lost this charger today. If you’re considering this charger, quality and performance is something you need not worry over. Longevity is another matter as I’ve had it only a few weeks. I will update my review if this fails.Recommended.
