Honestly when I took this out of the box and how light it fell and everything I thought maybe it might be a cheap construction but I was wrong. After putting it all on my case I absolutely love the way it fits, was able to put my new pen in there no problem, snaps in nicely and stay secure.At first I was a little worried about the hinge protector because I have a controller that clamps onto the sides of it and that would obstruct it from being in the center, but I was able to still clamp it in sideways and it holds it securely though it's sort of raised on the controller. If you're curious it's the Gamesir g8 pluscontroller (also a great item).A totally unexpected benefit of the hinge protector is that when you have the phone unfolded, it makes for great way to grip and hold on to it like I can even hold it with just two fingers if I were to choose to do that but it's a very nice way of feeling that this thing is stable in your hand.Also the screen protector for the smaller screen fit on so easily worked flawlessly right away. I haven't had any sort of issue with it whatsoever very happy with it.All in all this is one of the best cases I've ever owned.Just to be a devil's advocate I would add just a couple of things for my own personal preference to the design. A rubber cover at the charging port just to keep dust from getting in there, and adding just a little bit of flat surface to the edges of the bottom of the circle for the stand I think it would make it that much more stable not that it isn't stable It's just I would think if I hit it from the side or something or put it on a slightly uneven surface it might tip. I think with the current design you could just add just a few millimeters either side at the bottom of the circle that are flat to make that surface flat for better stability.
