There are a lot of options available to phone, watch and tablet owners when it comes to cradles, stands, and folios. I’ve purchased quite a few in my years. This is by far my favorite. It is customizable, portable, and sturdy. And it doesn’t charge. Which is why I like it. If you’re like my dad, or me as his impressionable son, you have some kind of built in anxiety about having your rechargeable devices disconnected from power whether you are using them or not.The thing is, all that constant power and no dissipation makes the battery inside lose capacity and wears it down quicker, meaning an eventual replacement happens sooner. My understanding is ypu really only want to charge these devices after they have ran out of juice or gone as low as possible before a recharge (sub-20%). This has helped me practice better power management with my 3 most-important devices.I love mine so much that I planned to travel with it and prepared to disassemble it, when the neck seemed to snap from the base. As you can imagine, I was crestfallen. But I reached out to the manufacturer and they were quick to provide support and sent a replacement right away. Looking at the new one and my original, I now see what the problem was/is: me. I legitimately just twisted the neck the exact wrong way while channeling the power of Grey Skull.Don’t be like me. Keep your assembly instructions with it if you plan to travel with it. Or better yet, just get 2. I’m already getting this for several family members. It’s been a hit so far!
